President-elect Donald Trump is continuing to back embattled pick for Defense secretary Pete Hegseth. “His support is strong and deep, much more so than the Fake News would have you believe,” Trump said on Truth Social Friday morning.
Trump’s defense of Hegseth is notable, given the former Fox News host said on Thursday that he wouldn’t drop out “as long as Donald Trump wants me in this fight.”
